Discover a whole new world at Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, located at the Dubai Mall. Gaze at the most diverse collections of aquatic life across hundreds of species and get a stellar view from the walkthrough tunnel for close encounters with these underwater animals. At level 2, you have the Underwater Zoo, a great place that boasts individual marine displays with their unique aquatic environments. Learn all about their quirks from the trained staff. Wave at penguins, crocodiles, piranhas, giant spider crabs, otters, water rats, sea horses, and sea jellies here!
Unforgettable animal encounters
Delight in the Penguin Encounter and meet the playful Gentoo Penguins in a replicated natural habitat, the first in the region to house these fascinating creatures. See the tiniest of the 13 otter species, the Asian small-clawed otters at Otter Encounter, and interact with the graceful Eagle Rays and Cow Nose Rays in the Ray Encounter. Complete your visit with the Shark Trainer, a special program that educates visitors about the different Shark species and their environment, feeding, and breeding habitats.

- The aquarium offers wheelchair and stroller accessibility for penguin and otter encounters.
What's not allowed
Children aged 2 and under are restricted from participating in this experience, however, children in this age group are eligible for otter encounters.
Ray Encounter and Shark Trainer Encounter are not recommended for pregnant women.
