For women, it is recommended to wear a traditional robe (abaya) and a headscarf (shayla). If you do not have your own, these garments will be provided to you.
When you visit the mosque you should completely cover your arms, legs, and hair. For men, it is recommended to wear long trousers and long sleeves.
It is recommended to wear lightweight clothes for desert safari.
Bring along sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat for desert safari experience.
It is advised to carry a jacket for the Dubai Marina cruise at night.
What's not allowed
Photographing local women is not allowed.
Overt display of affection is not allowed inside Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
